Man arrested for raping former neighbour

A 22-year-old man was on Sunday arrested for raping his former neighbour’s daughter.
Lameck Kamangire lured the 14-year-old girl into his house, locked and raped her once without protection.

The case came to light after the girl disclosed the act to her mother.

Harare provincial police spokesperson Inspector Luckmore Chakanza confirmed the arrest saying the victim has since been taken to Edith Hospital for medical examinations.
Lameck is detained at Epworth Police Station.
