A 19-Year-old man was sentenced to three years in prison after throwing a stone at a 33-year-old during an argument at a bar in Shurugwi.
During a heated argument at Tsviyo Bar in Shurugwi, Saxon Makula hurled a stone at Perfect Masukume in the early hours of 10 August 2024.
Masukume sustained severe head injuries from the incident and later succumbed to his injuries, resulting in his death.
“Makula pleaded guilty to Culpable Homicide, admitting negligence but denying intent to kill,” said the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe in a statement on X.
The court delivered a guilty verdict, and as a result, he was sentenced to serve a 3-year prison term.
