A HIGHFIELD man died on Monday after being stabbed twice with a kitchen knife in a dispute over US$2.
The suspect, Tendai Hove (39), appeared before magistrate Dennis Mangosi yesterday facing a murder charge.
He remanded him in custody to December 13 and advised him to apply for bail at the High Court.
Prosecuting, Zebediah Bofu said Hove had a misunderstanding with Godwin Mututa over US$2 in New Canaan, Highfield, on November 20.
They had an altercation.
Hove drew a kitchen knife from his pocket and stabbed Mututa twice on the left shoulder.
Mututa bled profusely and was rushed to Sally Mugabe Central Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
