BLACK Rhinos believe they have the capacity to save their season by completing the Great Escape.
They take on Simba Bhora in their final Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match of the season at Baobab on Saturday as they seek a dramatic last-day survival.
A terrible start to the season has kept thw two-time champions in the relegation zone for virtually the entire season.
The arrival of veteran coach Saul Chaminuka has given them hope.
They beven had a decent run in the Chibuku Super Cup before they were knocked out by Ngezi Platinum in the semi-finals.
Utility player, Valentine Katsande, says they will give it their best shot.
“This game is like a final to us.
“We have no other option for us than to go for an outright win.
“We have been fighting all season as a team to survive relegation but I think this is the time we need to be united and show character.
“It’s a tight one as several teams will be looking to win their games but we are not focusing on anyone besides ourselves.”
He added:
“We hope we will be able to play our game and control the game to make it easier for us.
“So, we have to fight every second and minute of the day so that we see ourselves through.
“As a team, at this juncture, all we can do is to win this match and hope things will go our way.”
