Man drags neighbour to court

A HARARE man successfully applied for a protection order against his neighbour for verbal abuse.

Masol Mushonga said his neighbour, Caroline Munaku, was also in the habit of taking pictures of him without his consent.

“She is my neighbour, but she is always insulting me using obscenities in the presence of my wife and children.

“I am now losing my dignity as a father and husband because of the insults,” he said.

Mushonga said he is now living in fear since Munaku is threatening to get him jailed.

“I do not feel safe anymore because she is threatening to get me arrested.

“Every time she sees me in my yard, she starts taking pictures of me without my permission.

“I do not know why she is doing so and what she is doing with those pictures,” he said.

Munaku was not in court to defend herself and magistrate Tamara Chibindi granted the protection order in default.

Munaku was ordered not to insult, threaten or harass Mushonga.
