contact with an overhead electric dual line.
Gift Moyo, a farm worker at Chimbi Farm in Rusape, was electrocuted on Saturday.
Manicaland provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Leonard Chabata, said Moyo was loading aluminum pipes onto a tractor trailer.
“The incident occurred on November 5 around 10:30 hours. One of the pipes, which is about six metres long got in contact with an overhead electric dual line and he was electrocuted,” he said.
Insp Chabata urged members of the public to be careful when dealing with live wires.
