Man ‘forces’ neighbour’s daughter (7) to suck his manhood, rapes her

A HIV positive 57-year-old Mzilikazi man allegedly forced his seven-year-old neighbour to suck his manhood twice before raping her and giving her R2 to buy her silence.
The man appeared before Bulawayo Magistrate Gladmore Mushove and was advised to ask for bail at the High Court after he pleaded with the courts to remand him out of custody so he could take his medication.

He was charged with three counts of aggravated indescent assault, rape and contravening a section of the Criminal Law Codification and Reform Act.

The court heard that on an unknown date between November 2013 and January 2014, the man called his unsuspecting victim to his residence.

He led her to his bedroom and removed his pair of trousers and asked the girl to suck his erect male organ and gave her R2 before ordering her to leave his house.

Prosecuting, Nyasha Kuture said, “The accused again on an unknown date called the girl to his house and told her that he wanted to have sexual intercourse with her so he could give her some money.

“ The girl refused and the man grabbed her and raped her once threatening to call the complainant’s aunt if she did not cooperate.
“After the act, the girl was given $1 which the man claimed to be a $5 note and ordered her to go home,” he said.

“Sometime in November at around November around 2pm, the man spotted the girl playing with other youngsters near her home. He called her and led her to his room.”

The courts heard that the man ordered the girl to remove her pair of trousers and she refused.
“He however pushed her to his bed and removed the pair of trousers and raped her. After the act he asked the girl to masturbate him and she complied. The girl was given $2 and told not to reveal the matter to anyone.”

In his response, the man said, “Your Honour I deny all these allegations. I am also requesting that you release me because I have to adhere to a strict timetable for taking my antiretroviral tablets.”

He was remanded in custody to January 28.
