Man in court over unlawful entry

A 23-year-old man appeared before Harare magistrate Dennis Mangosi facing unlawful entry charges.

Last Chironga  was not asked to plead and was remanded in custody until tomorrow for bail application. According to the State, on October 10 at around 1am, Chironga hatched a plan to steal from a complainant, who resides in Sunway City.

It is alleged that when he arrived at the complainant’s house, he forced open the door and ransacked the house. It is alleged that he stole a 62-inch Samsung television, a laptop, two Samsung Galaxy phones, an iPhone, a Huawei phone and US$100.

The total value of the stolen property is US$1 760.
