A Bulawayo couplea��s three-year-old marriage came to an end after the husband, Lloyd Mpofu, began urinating and pooping in the familya��s pots and pans.
His reason for the gross behaviour was because his wife, Angela Masogwe, was cheating on him.
a�?They parted ways after Masogwe had had enough of using pots which were at times turned into toilets.
a�?When Mapfumo came home drunk, he would wake up his wife and start asking her why there are rumours in the suburb that she was cheating on him.
a�?He would then insult her, accusing her of being a prostitute before taking pots to urinate and poop,a�? said a source close to the couple.
Masogwe told B-Metro that she had no choice but to leave him.
a�?I didna��t leave him for another man. I failed to stay with him because of his behaviour.
a�?What kind of a person does his dirt in the pots? Even if you wash the pots, you will not have the appetite to eat as your mind registers that picture of poop all the time,a�? she said.
Had the couple been well off, Masogwe would have replaced the kitchenware.
a�?I couldna��t throw away the pots because we didna��t have money to buy new ones. Therefore, I decided to leave him,a�? she added.
Mapfumo said it was all lies.
