A 39-year-old man from Lupane has been dragged to court for reportedly raping a three-year-old girl.
The accused has been remanded in custody to March 22.
Allegations are that the man went to the minor’s place to buy mealie-meal.
He raped her while her grandmother had gone to the bathroom to relieve herself.
The minor’s grandmother only came from the bathroom and caught the accused red-handed. She screamed for help from fellow villages who effected citizen arrest.
