Man a�?rapesa�� sick wife

A woman from Bulawayoa��s Entumbane suburb has decided to walk out of her marriage citing that she has had enough of her husbanda��s insatiable appetite for sex.

Enelia Betse claims that she has lost interest in her husband Daniel Mapombere as he forces her into sex even when shea��s sick.

In her affidavit, she said: a�?I am applying for a peace order between Daniel Mapombere and I. Hea��s my husband, but I am no longer interested because of the following reasons which include; forced sex when I am sick, humiliation and death threats.a�?

Betse also revealed that she was living in fear as the man threatened to kill her if she reported the matter to police or her relatives.

As if that was not enough, he vowed to hire hit men if she ever tried to divorce him.

The woman fears for her life as sometimes the man threatens to get rid of her by poisoning her food.

Betse even stated that the man does not respect her as he speaks unprintable words in the presence of her mother and relatives and this had resulted in her losing love and respect for him.

When Mapombere was given a chance to respond by the Western Commonage magistrate Nyaradzo Ringisai, he denied the allegations.

He also stated that he was no longer interested in the marriage.

The case was dismissed and the couple was advised to file for divorce while keeping peace towards each other. .
