Man stabbed over music memory card

A 24-year-old Inyathi man appeared in court  for allegedly stabbing his friend with a knife following a dispute over a music memory card.
Stanley Dube of Siganda village was not asked to plead to an attempted murder charge when he appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Witness Mtetwa on Tuesday.
He was remanded in custody to 20 June.
The prosecutor, Mr Malvern Nzombe, said on 31 May, the complainant went to Masuku Bottle Store in Inyathi and found Dube playing music from a memory card, which he had allegedly lent him.

The complainant, Mr Isaiah Moyo demanded his card back but Dube refused, saying he would give him after closing the shop.
An altercation ensued between the two men resulting in Dube pulling out a knife and stabbed Mr Moyo in the neck and head.

The complainant sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
A report was made to the police leading to Dube’s arrest.
