A MAN from Bulawayo’s Cowdray Park suburb allegedly stabbed his friend three times with a scissors, a court heard yesterday.
Doubt Dube allegedly stabbed Mr Ndodana Ncube from Makokoba once in the stomach and twice on the chest.
The court heard Dube attacked his friend on Tuesday after they had a misunderstanding over undisclosed issues.
Mr Ncube is battling for his life at the United Bulawayo Hospitals.
Dube appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Mr Tinashe Tashaya facing an attempted murder charge.
The Magistrate did not ask Dube to plead and remanded him in custody to today.
Prosecuting Ms Leean Nkomo said on December 6 around 5PM and at corner 6th Avenue and Lobengula Street Mr Ncube and Dube had a misunderstanding.
“The accused person stabbed the complainant three times with a pair of scissors, twice on the left side of the chest and once on the right side of the lower abdomen. The complainant sustained serious injuries and is admitted to UBH,” said Ms Nkomo. — @cynthiamthembo1
