Man stalks ex-wife

A HARARE man has been accused of pestering his former wife demanding reconciliation.

Chido Machemwa made the revelations at the Harare Civil Court where she applied for a protection order against Norman Zanga.

She told the court that she has known no peace since divorcing Norman.

Chido claimed her former husband was in the habit of forcing her to reconcile with him.

“I no longer want this kind of relationship or reunion with him and am failing to understand why he is forcing me to go back into that toxic marriage. He is also in the habit of sending pornographic material on my daughter’s mobile phone, “she said.

In response, Norman denied the allegations, claiming his former wife was misleading the court.

“I only went to her place to ask for her forgiveness and the other things she is now saying I know nothing about,” he said.

In her ruling, magistrate Sharon Mashavire granted the protection order in Chido’s favour.
