Man survives train crash

A 25-year-old man escaped death by a whisker and was left seriously injured after being hit by a train on Sunday.
The man was walking along the railway line at Mpopoma Transit Yard in Bulawayo while putting on earphones and did not hear the train honk.

In a statement, the National Railways of Zimbabwe (NRZ) confirmed the incident, saying the man sustained a broken hand and head injuries.

The NRZ also urged members of the public to exercise extreme caution on and around railway tracks.
