FORMER Warriors’ striker Terrance Mandaza has returned to Botswana where he signed for Township Rollers on Monday.
Mandaza, who has previously played for Dynamos, returns to Botswana following a short stint with Chiangmai FC of Thailand.
At Township Rollers, Mandaza will link up with former Caps United coach Mark Harrison.
“We have successfully completed the transfer and signing of Zimbabwean striker Mandaza today from Chiangmai FC. Wishing Mandaza all the best as he joins the Blues at training in preparation for the upcoming league fixtures,” Township Rollers said in a statement.
Mandaza reunites with Township Rollers having played for them from 2008 to 2010 before leaving to join Platinum Stars in the South African PSL. He also played for Maritzburg United before leaving for Asia.
In another development, former Gunners and Dynamos’ striker Quadr Amin has reportedly expressed interest in joining gold miners How Mine.
“Amin phoned us expressing his desire to come here, but we told him that we are not holding any trials and are yet to finalise issues with our new coach. Bringing him over without the coach might not be ideal as we don’t know what kind of players the coach wants,” said a How Mine official, who requested anonymity as he is not authorised to speak to the media.
Amin is believed to have failed to agree terms with DeMbare where he also never really lived up to expectations.
