While the eyes of the world were firmly fixed on the graduation of firebrand South Africa leader Julius Malema at the University of South Africa (Unisa), Zimbabwean actress and reality star Maneta Mazanhi was also being capped on the same stage.
After years of academic toil, Zimbabweas former representative at the Big Brother showpiece walked away a proud holder of an Honours Degree in Law from the South African institution.
The ever confident Maneta (ABOVE) was quick to flash her achievement for all to see, as she went on social media to post pictures of her graduation.
The budding actress also posted the aftermath of the graduation, showing a luxurious boat cruise with family and friends that was part of the celebration of her academic achievements.
The South Africa-based Maneta went on social media this week to share her triumph.
a?Graduated with my honors degree yesterday. When Jesus says yes nobody can say no. Nhasi ndezvedu wo zvadadisa!!,a? she wrote.
The actressa academic future had seemed to be somewhat doubtful after her ultimate disgraceful stay in the Big Brother house, as the 23-year-old struggled to come up with fees.
The Zimbabwean representative, who went to the reality show alongside her step sister Teclar Mazanhi, had shut shop before heading for the show as she left her job and surrendered her flat in the City of Kings.
a?I have been paying around R13 000 per semester at Unisa (University of South Africa) while going to work. Despite a law degree having been my motheras dream for me, I also feel that if I opt out now I would have burnt my own sweat,a? she said at the time.
