Manhood enlargement products: Real deal or scam?

Raymond Jaravaza, Saturday Leisure Correspondent

BUSINESS is good judging by the number of men that “bombard” her with enquiries on the effectiveness of her manhood enlargement pills. ‑ e topic of manhood enlargement pills is one that is discussed in hushed tones in bars and shebeens, but no man will ever admit in front of his peers of ever using the products.

Men are obsessed about the size of their manhood and one woman based in Harare has turned that obsession into a business.

Business is good, many men are contacting her vial WhatsApp to find out how the pills work and how they can make their manhood “bigger” and “stronger”.

Saturday Chronicle went undercover to find out from the Harare-based manhood enlargement pills dealer, Tinotenda Mahasha, how the pills work and how much they cost.

For US$65, a man with a manhood that he deems small can smile all the way to the bedroom and satisfy his partner between the sheets, according to Mahasha.

Traditional herbs

“We have medications for different health conditions, so which one are you exactly referring to?” she asks this reporter.

We tell the manhood enlargement pills dealer in a WhatsApp conversation that the reporter has a problem with his manhood and would like it enlarged to which her marketing skills kick in and she promises that her products are the real deal.

“We have natural herbal products for premature ejaculation, sperm motility and erectile dysfunction and the products address your problems in the bedroom.

Our pills also enlarge and enhance your manhood from a smaller size to a bigger size,” said Mahasha.

Since the manhood enlargement pills dealer is based in Harare, she urged this reporter to send the money via a money transfer services company and the products would be sent via a courier services company in two days.

Mahasha’s advert on social media claims her products are 100 percent guaranteed to work and that in the event a client is not satisfied with the results, her company refunds him. ‑ those claims were put to test and the conversation quickly turned sour.

“I can’t answer you on those questions. We can’t guarantee the effectiveness of the products and we do not refund customers.

You just have to trust that we are a reliable company that offers good products,” she said. After the engagement with the manhood enlargement pills dealer, Saturday Chronicle took to the streets to find out if Bulawayo residents believe in the products or not.

“It’s a scam, a man’s manhood doesn’t change because he drank some pills that are not even scientifically proven to be safe,” said Samukelo Tshuma.

Tshuma said she doesn’t mind the size of her husband’s manhood and would not encourage him to take the enlargement pills.

“Making my husband take those pills is just crazy. I will never make my husband feel that his manhood is small and that he doesn’t satisfy me in the bedroom.

Women must respect their husbands. No wonder people are divorcing every day,” she said.

Traditionalist Gogo Martha Mlambo from Entumbane suburb, said herbs can only help a man to last longer during sexual intercourse but can’t increase the size of a man’s manhood.

“Most men drink and smoke so their blood is contaminated with a lot of unhealthy toxins so it’s important for them to drink herbs that clean their bodies for them to be able to satisfy their wives in bed. “‑ these people that sell the so-called manhood enlargement pills are liars, there is nothing like that,” said Gogo Mlambo.

Science also doesn’t agree with the notion that pills can enlarge a man’s manhood. ‑ there is little scientific support for non-surgical methods to enlarge the manhood and no trusted medical organisation endorses manhood surgery for purely cosmetic reasons.

“Most of the techniques you see advertised don’t work and some can damage your manhood. ‑ think twice before trying any of them,” wrote a medical journal in the United States.–@RaymondJaravaz
