Manhunt launched after man found murdered outside Beitbridge nightclub

POLICE have launched a manhunt for an unidentified suspect linked to the murder of a 26-year-old man whose body was found with multiple head injuries outside a nightclub at Limpopo Business Centre in Beitbridge.

The victim, Vusumuzi Mbedzi (26), was discovered lying lifeless near the nightclub at around 2am on Friday.

In a statement, the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) appealed to members of the public for information that could assist in identifying and arresting the suspect.

“The ZRP is appealing for information which may lead to the identification and subsequent arrest of a suspect who is being sought in connection with a case of murder which occurred at Limpopo Business Centre, Beitbridge, on June 26, 2026, at around 2am in which Vusumuzi Mbedzi (26) died,” said police.

Police said preliminary investigations revealed that the deceased sustained multiple head wounds, indicating that he was fatally assaulted.

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the murder are continuing.
