WARRIORS COACH Norman Mapeza has made six changes to the starting line up ahead of Zimbabwe’s clash with Ghana in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier at the National Sports Stadium this afternoon.

United States defender Teenage Hadebe returns to reclaim his place in the heart of defence while Brendan Galloway will be earning his first cap this afternoon.

As was largely expected, Khama Billiat has been drafted in the midfield after missing the first leg due to a yellow card suspension.

Goalkeeper Talbert Shumba also returns along with Alec Mudimu and Terrence Dzvukamanja. Rahman Kutsanzira is a surprise choice for the rightback position.

France-based utility man Marshall Munetsi, who had fitness concerns after the first leg is a notable omission.

Goalkeeper Washington Arubi, Perfect Chikwende, Thabani Kamusoko, Knox Mutizwa have been benched while Tendayi Darikwa requested to be excused for this game.

Ghana have made only two changes after replacing captain Andre Ayew and Abdul Ishahaku Fatawu with Benjamin Tetteh and Baba Iddrisu.

Arsenal man Thomas Partey will lead the Black Stars this afternoon.

Egyptian referee Mohamed Omar Amin will handle the tie. He will be assisted by compatriots Mahmoud Ashour and Ahmed Hossam Eldin.
