Mario Balotelli abused

LIVERPOOL. — Liverpool star Mario Balotelli was the victim of a shocking X-rated tirade of abuse at the club’s training ground on Tuesday. The Kop ace was training with his team-mates at the club’s Melwood training ground when a man began hurling a volley of swear words at the Italian striker in a seemingly unprovoked attack. An eyewitness reported that the man pulled up outside the club’s training ground, before climbing on top of his white van and then hurling abuse at a startled Balotelli.
Training had to be briefly paused, with the 24-year-old clearly distressed at the level of abuse he was receiving.

Manager Brendan Rodgers tried to defuse the situation before security guards stepped in to help move him on.
