According to the self-proclaimed queen of pole dancing, she has been inundated by calls from married women for private lessons after shows and because of this she made a decision to start lessons for them.
Speaking after her performance on Friday night in Bulawayo at Hustlers Night Club, Zoey said she wanted to teach women how to entertain their husbands.
She said while dancing in night clubs, she and her group would be doing two things, entertaining men and teaching the women.
“You see, when we are on stage we are teaching and entertaining at the same time. We entertain your men and we teach the women. So what better ways to learn than to have me teach you step by step? Basically, lessons will be one hour and we have three classes a day. We will start with a beginners class aimed at developing fitness and stamina and then progress into pole basics,” she said.
She said the lessons were to dispel perceptions that she would be after other women’s men.
“These lessons will be to teach those women who want to entertain their husbands at home. We do not want anyone’s man and I think the knowledge I have I can share it with people for a fee of course,” she said.
Zoey said contrary to media reports, there was no accident that killed anyone when she was going to Victoria Falls.
She said she had a new DVD that shows what she does in the night clubs.
“I have a DVD called Meet Zoey and the Red Angels and it is just basically telling my fans about myself and explaining about what I am doing. I always enjoy myself when I am in Bulawayo and the crowd is so responsive and appreciative, I like the vibe here,” said Zoey.
Zoey and her group the Red Angels were the toast of the day as they did dances such as pole dancing and lap dancing, with the women in the crowd paying close attention to the proceedings.
Hood Crankers, a four-member boy group, mesmerised the crowd with breathtaking high flying dance moves during the intervals.
