On his way to the final, Murray opened the tournament with a 3-0 drubbing of Tyler Rowe in the first round before beating Beven Waghon by the same scoreline in the quarter-finals.
In the semi-finals, Murray was stretched to five sets by Ahmed Hassan before winning the tightly-contested tie 3-2 to book a place in the final against Magwaza.
Magwaza, on the other hand, made it through to the final after he first beat Jason Rowe 3-0 in the opening round before recording another 3-0 over Carl Olsen in the quarter-finals.
In the last four, Magwaza accounted for Alex Holmes 3-1 to move into the final where he met his match in Martin.
The Plate winner was Rowe who beat Casper Coetzee 3-2.
