Marvelous journey!

After debuting in the local Premier Soccer League at the age of 16 for Bantu Rovers in 2010, Marvelous Nakamba (27) has undergone a massive transformation in the last decade.

From a school boy at Njube High School, he is now a key figure for English Premiership side Aston Villa.

He played for Bantu Rovers under coach Methembe Ndlovu for two years, and in 2012 moved to French side AS Nancy before he joined Dutch club Virtesse Arnhem in 2014.

He then moved to Belgian giants Club Brugge in June 2017 and on 1 August 2019 made the biggest break to Aston Villa, where he is rubbing shoulders with some of the best footballers in the world and getting huge financial rewards for his talent.
