MASAISAI Primary School held a cultural festival to teach pupils about African culture and tradition.
Running under the theme ‘Ngano Dzepasi Chigare’ the event was graced by Dr Mabasa from the University of Zimbabwe.
Mr Chikwetu, the main organiser of the festival, said it was not only meant to entertain pupils only but also to educate them on African culture.
“Our main aim is to motivate students to cherish their Zimbabwean identity, value their heritage, history and cultural traditions.

“We need to take learners to the old days when we used to gather around a fire and hear stories about our culture and tradition”.
Masisai Primary School students told their nganos alongside such popular artists like Able Muchuri, Chengerai Mazambani, Sekuru Soro, Guramatunhu, Dombo Dzuku, Wekwamagaya Mutumwa Pavi and many others.
