Mash East to audit projects

Ray Kaukonda said the party was losing a lot of support from the youths because of failed leadership.
“We have received a lot of complaints from youths accusing their district leadership of abusing projects that must benefit the young.
“The provincial leadership has requested the national secretary for youth affairs Cde Absolom Sikhosana to be part of our delegation as we go constituency by constituency to meet the youths.”
Cde Kaukonde, who is currently touring each district to audit party structures, recently visited Chikomba where youths complained bitterly about not benefiting from the projects.
The provincial chairman said the leadership has since resolved to visit all the 20 constituencies and meet the youths.
“We are going to all the constituencies and hear what they youths want. We will not use numbers at the rallies in this campaign but get to the people.
He urged youths to come with tangible project proposals during the meetings.
“These would be no-holds-barred meetings and youths should feel free to engage and even criticise us.”
