Mashonaland East ready for elections: Chiefs

good governance programme in Murehwa recently, Chief Magwende said this year’s elections will be held peacefully. Chief Mangwende, Chief Shaninga and Chief Gumbanjera attended the district launch at Murehwa council offices.
“We are prepared for the elections because they bring peace and stability. We will go to our people and preach about peace so that when elections are conducted, people know the importance of peace.”
Chief Mangwende was represented at the launch by Mr Innocent Zihute.
