Most fans have already given the asbestos’ miners the relegation tag after a poor start to the season.
“People are day dreaming or should I call them nightmares,” said Masomere.
“We can only be relegated after playing the last game of the season and we are not even in mid-season.
“I know the teams that are going to be relegated and Shabanie is not among them.
“It is an insult to say a team that is coached by Vahombe is going to be relegated and you must tell people that hakuna izvozvo.”
His first game is a Zvishavane Derby against high-flying leaders FC Platinum tomorrow.
“FC Platinum has everything and they are a formidable side. It is one team that is on top of the log and we are on the basement,” said Masomere.
“They are favourites and we are underdogs in our own backyard.
“They are flying high and there is no guarantee that they are going to win.
“You can’t underrate them but we are going to meet on the pitch on Sunday and we are prepared for the best. I lack strikers upfront as we have scored only one goal against nine.
“I am working hard with the current players to build a team and one day I am going to get positive results.”
