Masomere targets lowly Black Rhinos

LUKE MASOMERE takes his men to Kadoma hoping that the feel-good effect of their giant-killing act over Dynamos in the BancABC Sup8r Cup will drive them to scale new heights. Shabanie Mine face a tricky tie against Black Rhinos at Rimuka this afternoon.
“A number of teams are after us because we beat DeMbare in the BancABC Sup8r Cup and they are doing everything possible to beat a team that emerged victorious over Dynamos,” said Masomere.

“Black Rhinos are one of the teams and they pose a threat to us because they are in the relegation zone.
“They have a lot of advantages over us since they will be playing at home and my players are very tired after playing on Sunday while Rhinos players will be very fresh.

“We want to finish in the top eight and we have prepared very well for the match against Rhinos. We are ready up to the end of the season.”
Since relocating to Rimuka, Rhinos haven’t lost a home game.

And they are confident ahead of today’s meeting.
“We want to silence the doctor of football and Masomere will go back to Zvishavane a quite man,” club secretary, Roy Svovanapasi, said.
“We have never lost a match at Rimuka and we are looking forward to winning this match at all cost.

“We have mixed youth with experience and Shabanie must come to Rimuka bearing in mind that we have a good striker in Phillip Marufu, veteran Gilbert Mushangazhike, Brighton Mugoni and Lot Chiunga who was recently called up to the national team.”
