ZIMDANCEHALL artist, Master H, is turning 27 and he will celebrate his birthday during an all-star event at the Chitungwiza Aquatic Complex today.
Dubbed the “Master H HomeComing Birthday Celebrations Concert”, the event will feature an array of artists, emcees and deejays.
The artists include Freeman HKD, Seh Calaz, Dadza D, Nisha T, Tamy Moyo, Kikky Bad**s, Hwindi President, Hwinza, Poptain, Bazooker, Voltz JT, KAE Chaps, Bling 4, Delroy, Godfather Templeman and Merciless Zim.
The chanter’s band, Bottom Camp, has Vitalis Daka, also known as DJ Tecco, drummer Obert Gomba, bass guitarist Manyewe Blessed, vocalist Tanaka Magazeni, Anika and Exodus Bande on keyboard.
Born in Zengeza 1, the “Dhanzi” hitmaker said he owes Chitungwiza a lot and that is why he is celebrating his birthday in his home turf.
On Wednesday, he made a donation to the elderly at Bumhudzo Old People’s Home.
Master H also managed to host an under-16 soccer tournament at Mbare Stodart Grounds.
Speaking through his manager, Bendiction “Mpondasugar” Ndou, the chanter promised fireworks.
“I owe that town (Chitungwiza) a lot for making me the person and the artist that I am today.
“It humbles me to just think of the overwhelming support I get from my hometown so l am bringing them top artists to entertain them on my behalf.
“My musical journey has been a success over the years and I want to thank my fans who have been standing firmly with me through the good and the bad times,” he said.
This year has seen Master H and his band perform at major national events.
Some music fans even say that Master H is the number one Zimdancehall artist in the country today.
