Masvingo 2024 provincial schools expo oversubscribed

The inaugural 2024 Masvingo Provincial Schools’ Expo lived up to its billing and was oversubscribed with more than 20 schools from all corners of the province gracing the event.

The expo, which ran under the theme “Heritage Based Curriculum Education: Leveraging National Endowments in the Provision of Inclusive, Equitable and Quality Education In Line with Vision 2030”, was officially opened by the Minister of State for Masvingo Provincial Affairs and Devolution Ezra Chadzamira.


“To deliver a competitive, industrialised and modernised Zimbabwe, the Ministry of Higher Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development has adopted innovation and industrialisation through Education 5.0.”

“The Government of Zimbabwe’s vision on Education 5.0 entails that graduates from our tertiary institutions should be equipped with skills that empower them to become innovative through transformative science and technology knowledge application to deliver goods and services,” he said.

Minister Chadzamira described the expo as a celebration of education and innovation.
During the expo, learners from various schools showcased various things ranging from science projects and art displays, among other things.

Minister Chadzamira handed out prizes to students with outstanding exhibitions.
