Masvingo provincial indigenisation committee chairman and Governor Titus Maluleke yesterday said it was high time Government compelled companies that had not fulfilled their pledges to pay up.
Governor Maluleke said the defiant companies were supposed to pay up or close shop.

“We are appealing to Government through the Minister of Youth, Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment, Cde Saviour Kasukuwere, to force the defiant companies to pay up or close shop. The defiant companies cannot continue to take us for granted. Government should invoke the requisite pieces of indigenisation laws,” he said.
