ZIFA Eastern Region side Masvingo United will today travel to play Eastern Stars in high spirits after beating Buffaloes Juniors 4-0 in a rescheduled league match on Wednesday.
The former Premier League outfit are currently on second position on the table with 16 matches played.
They are five points shy of table toppers Mutare City who are on 35 points after defeating Black Eagles FC 3-0.
Masvingo easily brushed aside Buffaloes Juniors after their first clash was marred by ugly scenes.
Masvingo’s visit to Mutare saw the match being abandoned due to violent clashes after Yuna Yuna stormed the pitch.
Both teams were fined by the Eastern Region management.
Buffaloes were awarded three points for the match.
Masvingo silenced the army side when they hammered four goals without reply at Mucheke Stadium this week.
