ZIMBABWE international Tawanda Maswanhise is hoping for a massive new season at Motherwell in Scotland.
Maswanhise, who scored a brace in in their last game against Clyde in the Scottish League Cup, is one of the most promising Warriors players in Europe.
His first season in Scotland was good, but he admists he has room for improvement.
“I’m happy to kick-start the campaign with two goals. I really wanna get more goals this season, and yaah, deligted with the two goals really,” said Maswanhise.
“There is always room for improvement and I have set myself higher goals this season because I know what the league is like.
“I sort of know the league better than I did last year… Hopefully I can achieve these targets that I have in myhead.”
Motherwell face Peterhead on Tuesday night in the Scottish League Cup, and they will be banking on the forward to inspire them to victory.
The 22-year-old, who is among talented young Zimbabwean players developed in the UK, will be hoping to be in good shape when the Warriors play at the AFCON finals later this year.
