ZANU-PF Matabeleland South province is more than prepared for Vice-President Joice Mujuru’s visit next week, with over 500 delegates expected to grace the event, a senior party official has said.
The Zanu-PF chairman for the province, Cde Andrew Langa, said VP Mujuru would be visiting the province for the first time after it performed exceptionally well in the July 2013 national elections.

“We are happy that our honourable VP Mujuru will come and have a talk with the women of the province. We are delighted that she will be visiting a province that managed to scoop all seats in last year’s elections,” said Cde Langa.

VP Mujuru is expected in the Mat South town of Gwanda on 11 May where she will deliver a lecture on the Zimbabwe Agenda for Sustainable Socio-Economic Transformation (Zim Asset) at Joshua Mqabuko Polytechnic.

Cde Langa said the visit was part of an ongoing tour by VP Mujuru in various provinces, educating the people on the Zim Asset blueprint.
