Matabeleland North Ardas director Nyoni to be laid to rest on Friday

AGRICULTURAL and Rural Development Advisory Services (Ardas) Provincial director for Matabeleland North, Mr Dumisani Nyoni who passed away on Monday will be laid to rest on Friday at Lady Stanley cemetery in Bulawayo.

He passed away in hospital where he was admitted to a private ward at United Bulawayo Hospitals (UBH). He was 60.

Mr Nyoni, had been unwell for sometime and was on sick leave at the time of his death.

In a statement, Matabeleland North Provincial lands officer, Ms Rhoda Graham said: “Burial for our late Provincial director will be held on Friday 27th of September 2024 at Lady Stanley cemetery in Bulawayo. For transport we have sourced five buses from the Public Service Commission (PSC).”

She said the buses will leave Mhlahlandlela complex at 7am to Amphitheatre where the service will commence at 7.30am there after we will proceed for burial at Lady Stanley cemetery at 10 am.

Ms Graham said too many people are likely to be attending the funeral service as Mr Nyoni was a well-known agricultural extension fundi who dedicated his entire 30 plus years in the Ministry servicing the Matabeleland farming community with knowledge and expertise in agriculture.
