Matobo RDC acquires 34 motorbikes, three vehicle

Matobo Rural District Council in Matabeleland South Province is today commissioning 34 motorbikes for its councilors and three vehicles for the local authority.

The Deputy Minister of Local Government and Public Works, Albert Mavhunga, is presiding over the ceremony.

The motorbikes cost over US$48 000 while the vehicles cost over US$99 000.

The equipment was received from devolution and ZINARA funds.

The development is expected to improve service delivery through improved mobility for councilors and Council staff.
