ON March 2 and March 7, this year, we published a story about Theresa Chenjerai’s appearance in court over bribery charges in which she was also charged with allegedly harbouring a criminal involved in 15 counts of robbery.
The court hearings were at Norton Magistrate Court.
It has come to our attention that the picture of Theresa Chenjerai which appeared in our reports is not the correct picture of the Theresa Chenjerai who appeared in court and is facing the charges.
The error is regretted and we sincerely apologise to Theresa Chenjerai, whose image was used in our story when she was not part of this case and has no connection whatsoever with the case at Norton Magistrate Court.
We apologise to Theresa Chenjerai, whose image we have published today, for what was our mistake and the damage which our story caused to her.
