Chitungwiza has become one of the port of calls of Jamaican artistes because of its ghetto appeal that is reminiscent of the high-density suburbs of Jamaica.
Initially, the Jamaican artiste was expected to perform in the country late last year, but the show failed to materialise after one of his band members reportedly lost his mother.
Mavado’s show is sponsored by C&A Entertainment, the promotion company that brought a number of foreign artistes to Zimbabwe.

These include Beenie Man, Sizzla Kalonji and King Sounds, Maxi Priest and Fantan Mojah.
