Gospel musician, content creator and digital entrepreneur Mawamba Bunjira has made a comeback to the music scene with a refreshed version of his popular single “Handidzokere Shure,” this time incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) in the production process.

The reggae-conscious artist says the decision to revisit the song was inspired by its timeless message of perseverance and faith during difficult times.

“The message remains relevant. Many people are facing challenges and uncertainties, and I wanted to revisit it with a fresh sound that would reach both old and new audiences,” he said.

Originally released alongside “Aripo,” the song encourages listeners not to give up when facing life’s struggles, but to keep moving forward in faith. The new remix brings a modern reggae-inspired sound while maintaining its original message of hope and determination.

A key highlight of the project is Bunjira’s use of AI technology in music production. He explained that AI was used as a creative supporting tool, rather than a replacement for human creativity.

“AI helped with aspects of music development and arrangement, enhancing the production quality while I remained fully involved in the creative direction,” he said.

He added that AI assisted with experimentation, arrangement ideas and sound refinement, helping him achieve a more polished result.

Looking ahead, Mawamba says he will continue blending innovation and faith-based music to inspire wider audiences through digital platforms.
