Cde Mayowe’s body was accompanied by Masvingo Governor and Resident Minister Titus Maluleke, Zanu-PF Masvingo provincial chairman Cde Lovemore Matuke, secretary for production and labour Cde Dzikamai Mavhaire, Mwenezi East legislator Cde Kudakwashe Bhasikiti, Major General Engelbert Rugeje and Retired Major General Gibson Mashingaidze.
The body will lie in state at his Greendale home ahead of burial.
Cde Mawoye succumbed to cancer in South Africa last Saturday where he was receiving medical treatment.
