Mbare prophets make peace

A MBARE-BASED leader of the Johanne Masowe Echishanu, who was implicated in a fight over congregants and a shrine, says he is a peace-loving man of the cloth.

Madzibaba Noah Madenyika, popularly known as Madzibaba Cryradge, says congregants have a right to choose a church of their choice, without being coerced.

The matter arose after Panganai Katsande, popularly known as Madzibaba Katsande, accused Cryradge of harassing his relative.

“There is no need for fighting over congregants and I am not a violent person, neither am I a bad leader who believes in violence.

“This issue is only meant to tarnish my image, something which is not good in worshipping God. Congregants have a right to pray at a church they want, congregants come vega kuchurch, we don’t tell them where to pray,” said Madzibaba Cryradge.

“I am not even jealous of fellow clergymen but it is my wish that we all praise God in a peaceful manner.

“We have to work together for the noble cause rather than having fights.

“He is my brother and we should seek guidance from each other rather than fight.”
