Mbare teams making waves at Cottco Festival

None of the teams however, managed to convert their tries.

Richard Masasa of Harare High gave thurst his team into the half time lead when touched down after 30 minutes before Zengeza’s Tatenda Saurosi brought his team level in the 46th minute.
Harare then planted two more tries to secure a win that left skipper Nyerezerama happy.

“The game was nice and we managed to do well and we are happy and looking forward to the next game and hopefully we will have a good record around,” Nyerezerama said.

The other match saw another Mbare based outfit — Mbare Bulldogs U-16  — face-off with Mufakose High 1 which the former team that came out 13-6 winners.
Kuda Mazhindu had a try while his twin brother Kuziva scored two penalties as blessing Nota had the conversion.
