Muzungu assisted a South African woman gain entry into Zimbabwe with the help of her party president Mr Job Sikhala.
The woman, Sharon Theresa Bester, told the court that they were dealing in diamonds when they were arrested in Harare.
Bester, who is in custody, said they were arrested in town while Muzungu was selling diamonds.
“He (Muzungu) asked me to accompany him to town where he had some business to do.
“I realised that he was dealing in diamonds and the buyer he brought happened to be a detective undercover.
“The detective attached to CID Minerals asked for my documents, which I did not have, leading to our arrest,” she said.
Muzungu pleaded not guilty to the charges.
