MDC-T youths remanded

They allegedly accused the Zanu-PF youths of forcing residents to register as voters and participate in the revolutionary party’s structures.
Fanuel (31) and his brother Tendai (26) Kamurendo, Shelton Masamba (26), Wilbert Ndiweni (33) and Elizabeth Dube (26) all of Unit O were not asked to plead when they appeared before Chitungwiza magistrate Mr Kudakwashe Jarabini to answer to disorderly conduct charges.

Mr Jarabini remanded them in custody to tomorrow for trial. Zanu-PF is being represented by the chairman of the Herbert Chitepo Ward 22 Cde Brezhnev Mushawatu. During the day, the youths went to the Zanu-PF Ward 22 offices in Unit O chanting their slogans where they accused Zanu-PF youths of coercing residents to take part in their activities.
