Messiah music tour, Super Saturdays beckon this weekend

Celebrated gospel artiste, Minister Michael Mahendere, is set to perform in Mutare tomorrow (Saturday) at a concert expected to attract hundreds of gospel fans.
The event, dubbed the Messiah Mutare Music Tour, will run from 2pm to 8pm.
Mahendere, who will be backed by his Direct Worship Group, is expected to perform some of his popular tracks including Messiah, Bako Rangu, Mbiri Kugwayana, Ndamuona and Rarama.
Supporting acts will include Minister Nhariswa, Svondo Music Choir, Priscilla Tande, Minister Ellard and Sharon, among others.
Mutare Meikles Park
Gospel musician, Jairosi Mutambikwa, will launch his new album, Jehoshaphat this afternoon at an open-air venue in the city centre. The launch, which begins at 12-noon and ends at 7pm, will feature a line-up of artists across genres. Among those expected to perform are Hosiah Chipanga, sungura musician, Simba Muchita, Cloris Machuwaire, Melania Pfidze, Resurrection Power and Blessing Benjamin.

The Pizza Pavilion and Grill
The entertainment joint, located at the Portuguese Club, will host selected DJs entertaining music and food lovers. They will provide smooth, soulful sounds to complement the dining experience, creating a relaxed atmosphere for patrons to mingle and unwind.
Pahukama Bar
Located at Acid Shopping Centre in Chikanga, Pahukama Bar turns lively on Saturday with DJ Kartel headlining the entertainment. A pool tournament featuring the home side and a visiting team will also take place, while several DJs are expected to keep the music flowing throughout the day and night.
Club Mandisa
The joint kicks off the weekend tonight with DJs Nasty and Smoke on the decks. The pair will play a mix of Afro-beats, chart-toppers and club anthems. The rogramme includes themed nights, light displays and VIP entertainment.

Villa Spot
The popular Dangamvura joint will host its Super Saturdays music jamboree tomorrow, with DJs Vinny, Zincyard, Nasty, Quick and Brizz taking turns on the decks. The event starts at 2pm and will run until late.
The Breeze
Entertainment at the joint begins tonight from 8pm with a line-up of DJs. On Saturday, the venue will feature a sound crew specialising in old-school classics, promising an evening of nostalgia and dance.
