Metro Peech customers win big

MORE than 20 customers last weekend walked away with various prizes at the end of the Metro Peech super trade summer promotion. The prizes included a Toyota two-tonne truck, generators, stoves, refrigerators, vouchers and groceries.

Metro Peech Chipinge branch manager Mr Erasmus Chafausipo thanked customers for their unwavering support.

Mr Chafausipo said their branch had managed to get a fair market share in Chipinge within a short period.

“On behalf of Metro Peech we are grateful with the support we are receiving from our valued customers in this area. Our outlet is now attracting customers from as far as Chimanimani, Checheche and Nyanyadzi, which is good news considering that our branch is still young in Chipinge.

“We also want to assure that Metro Peech will continue giving back to our customers by holding more promotions in the coming festive season where many prizes will be won. We also want to encourage those who did not win in this promotion today not to lose hope because they can make it as we at Metro Peech always reward our customers,” he said.

The biggest winner of the competition was Mr Lazarus Kurima of A to Z Trading who drove away with a Toyota two-tonne truck.

The excited Mr Kurima thanked Metro Peech Wholesalers for coming up with the promotion which honours customers in Chipinge.

Mr Kurima said he thought competitions of this kind were biased with management’s blue-eyed boys winning.

“All along I thought bigger prizes were not won by customers like us. I thought the draw was done in unclear ways because on several occasions I won smaller prizes, but today I have realised that anyone can win the biggest prize. The competitions are transparent.

“This truck comes at a time when my business needs more vehicles because of high demand of our products in this coming festive season. I hope my operations will now be easier considering that I now have two vehicles which will help in transporting products to my shops,” he said.

Other Chipinge retail outlets that won prizes include Step In Investments, Smart Save and other individuals dotted around the district.
