Mhande outfit to represent Mashonaland West in Chibuku Neshamwari finals

Budiriro Arts will represent Mashonaland West in this year’s Chibuku Neshamwari Traditional Dance finals set for Masvingo on July 27.

The Mhande outfit beat nine other groups during the preliminaries held at Yolander Bar in Chinhoyi last weekend.
Nyau dancers, Chabvondoka Nyau came second while Garawabika Gure Club came third.
Budiriro Arts will join eight other groups that have already qualified. These are Dapurahunanzva Arts Ensemble from Manicaland, Culture Warriors (Harare), Dzimbahwe Nengoma (Mashonaland Central), Gango (Masvingo), Mkango Malawi Nyau Club (Midlands), Nyaungwe Dance Group (Mashonaland East), Bolamba (Matabeleland South) and Pezhuba Pachena (Matabeleland North).
Bulawayo’s representatives will be selected on July 13 at Pekhiwe Bar.The winning team at the finals will walk away with U$15 000.
