Gospel music sensation, Mathias Mhere of the famous hit Favour, has just come out of studio with a 10-track album, Nguva yeNyasha, second.
The album will be launched at the end of the month, in Harare.
Mhere said he was confident that the new album would take the genre to another level.
“I believe that through God we will do great things and the launch of this album will prove that nothing will deter us from achieving whatever we have set ourselves to achieve,” said Mhere.
Mhere has never looked back ever since he went solo after parting ways with his church’s praise and worship team a few years ago.
His new offering has tracks such as Zino Irema, Idya Tafura, Ziya Rangu, No Busy, Mhandu yedu, Mweya Mutsvene, Peter Peter and Kureura Chivi.
“I remain optimistic that through the grace of the Almighty God I shall grow in the music industry,” said Mhere.
The singer believes that he was sent by God and through his music he would reach out and also enlighten people about the gospel of salvation through the grace of God.
“There are important messages in all these tracks,” he said.
The album was produced by Lyton Ngolomi of Lyt-on Studios.
