SHOW CAUSE NOTICE OF VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE
In terms of article 17.3 of the Highlanders Constitution and pursuant to article 7.6, I hereby serve you notice to show cause why a Vote of No Confidence should not be passed on you as the Executive Chairman of Highlanders F C or alternative your entire Executive Committee at the next meeting of Highlanders FC members. The loss of confidence in your leadership or lack of leadership is predicated, among others from these few reasons:
1. The club has become the laughing stock with ghost and guest writers having a field day dragging the Highlanders name through the mud. The concomitant damage to the Highlanders brand due to these scandalous after scandalous is immense. This either means you are not aware of what is happenings at the club or you are complicit in the perpetration of the same. Either way, all these happenings are happenings under your watch and the buck stops with you as the head.
2.The continuous leaking of confidential club documents points to dangerous fissures within your executive team sir. It is tarnishing the club’s image.
3.Questionable actions from the office like the Legends disclaimer.
4.Under your watch, the club has had a very high turnover of CEOs within a very short space of time. 4 or 5 or whatever the number. Is it a coincidence or natural wastage or a reflection of your leadership or lack of?
5.Various cases of stealing and alleged frauds at the offices and alleged disappearances of charge sheets. How can charge sheets disappear on a number of occasions. This reflects bad on your leadership or lack of leadership. The $5000 alleged fraud involving the previous CEO comes to mind. Are there other underhand dealings/happenings happening under your watch Sir.
6.Diversions and alleged questionable player movements and alleged ghost players. Are you at the helm Chairman or the train is on autopilot on way to crash landing (e.g. to mention just a few, Mafios Chichewa’s PE Academy/ Ajax debacle and cash payments; Simba Madzivire mystery; What other unsavoury surprises are lurking in the background).
7.Corporate governance principles obligate a public organisation like Highlanders to have an audit Committee which reports directly to the members. Is it an oversight that none has reported to Highlanders members or is it a deliberate ploy calculated to keep prying eyes away?
8.The rumoured new coach (if true) has not arrived alleged due to permits even though other teams have secured permits for their foreign coach well behind us. Are we out of our depth or clueless to expedite the process when others like Caps and Dynamos have did it?
9.Your leadership or lack of has won us the award of being the first club to be visited upon by ZACC. A truly unenvious accolade.
10.The team performance has been far from satisfactory and I am not confident that you have a vision to take us to glory, any glory.
11.The fulcrum of the matter sir, is that you, as the head of the executive, you are vicariously liable for the deeds or misdeeds happenings under your watch sir.

Sincerely

Pilate Mahlangu
